Fluent in Japanese and exceptionally well-travelled, Jacqui brings rare insight to her Japan itineraries, offering clients a depth of cultural understanding that transforms a trip into something truly special. Living with coeliac disease herself and as a mother of an autistic child, Jacqui understands first-hand the importance of thoughtful planning, clear communication and the finer details that make travel feel safe, comfortable and inclusive. Türkiye is more than a destination to Mehmet Tavli — it’s home.

Born in Adana, in southern Türkiye, Mehmet brings a deeply personal connection to the country and a perspective that goes far beyond the guidebooks. Speaking four languages, he combines his knowledge of Türkiye’s diverse regions and cultures with the warmth, generosity and genuine hospitality that the country is renowned for.

As our Türkiye Travel Expert, Mehmet helps us create journeys that are not simply about visiting Türkiye, but about experiencing it through the eyes of someone who knows and loves it intimately.

One of our favourite experiences is visiting Mehmet’s hometown of Adana — a destination far from the usual tourist trail. Guests discover a different side of Türkiye through a local perspective before being welcomed into Mehmet’s family home to meet his family and share a traditional feast.
